During her stay in the lab, Srishti delved into how small molecules influence Ataxin-2-driven stress granule dynamics.
In the lab, Srishti used molecular biology techniques and cell culture tools to push the edges of discovery. Outside the lab, you’ll find her chasing music, exploring cafés, and soaking in the rhythm of Bengaluru. Srishti is currently working at MedGenome Labs, Bengaluru.

Think of me as a cellular detective, uncovering how molecular chaperones like TRiCs/CCTs throw stress granule parties inside cells, and why those parties sometimes lead to neurodegeneration. Armed with cell culture, Western blots, and microscopes, I dive deep into protein homeostasis and cellular stress mysteries. When not in the lab, I’m exploring city streets, lost in a good book, or cooking up experiments that (mostly) taste better than they look. Science is always more exciting when shared. I also helped in designing the web page for PQC Lab.
